Youth Minister for Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport for the Jamaican Youth Parliament

Oshane Robinson is a student at the University of the West Indies Mona doing a MA in Heritage Studies. He was the president of the UWI Mona History and Archaeological Society from 2011-2013 where he organized several seminars and forums on the importance of preserving cultural heritage. In 2015 he participated in both the Jamaica National Commission for UNESCO Jamaica Youth Leadership Training in Heritage Preservation and Protection Program. As the Jamaican Representative to the Young Experts Forum in Germany in 2015, he is passionate about safeguarding the heritage of Jamaica; and by extension the region. As the current Youth Minister for Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport for the Jamaican Youth Parliament it’s his aim to assist with public education on matters of heritage and the diversification and strengthening of heritage.
